Keith Ivan Mayhew

Keith was born in Washington, D.C. to Wayne and Jane Mayhew on May 23, 1961. He proudly served in the US Marine Corp from 1979 to 1984, receiving medals for Good Conduct, Rifle Sharpshooter, Pistol Marksman and Merit Mast. He then worked for the US Postal Service in Tampa, FL for 32 years. He enjoyed playing golf, attending sporting events and concerts, playing guitar and traveling.

Keith is survived by his wife, Beverly Miller Mayhew; son and daughter in law, Eric and Nicole Mayhew; son, Wes Mayhew and fiance, Lauren Goessl; brother and sister in law, Tim and Karen Mayhew; sister, and brother in law, Dawn and Lee Harding; sister and brother in law, Denise and David Miller.

The family wishes to express our sincere thanks to the doctors and staff at the JA Haley VA and Lifepath Hospice for the extraordinary care given to Keith.

Donations to the ALS Association Florida Chapter in memory of Keith are appreciated.

A funeral service will take place at 11am on Monday, August 14, 2023 at Blount and Curry Carrollwood located at 3207 West Bearss Ave. Tampa, FL. 33618. The family will receive friends one hour prior.

Following the service, the family welcomes you to join them in a lunch reception followed by Military Honors which will take place at 2pm at Florida National Cemetery.
