

Lamar Michael Cernobyl "Mike", 56, of Tampa, Florida, passed away on January 20, 2025, at his home. Born January 9, 1969, in West Palm Beach, Florida, he was the son of the late Lamar Metz Cernobyl and Dovie Wilson. Mike was a graduate of Lake Worth High and attended Florida Atlantic University. He married Teresa Lyman on September 22, 2021 (the first day of autumn). He worked as a distributor for Flowers Baking Company for many years. He was an excellent bowler with multiple 300 and 800 series games. He won many tournaments including 1st Place (scratch and handicap) in the 2023 Open State Tournament/Florida State U.S.B.C. with his doubles partner Jason Brock. His greatest pride was being inducted into the Hall of Fame in the Palm Beach County U.S.B.C.B.A. as a junior and senior. He enjoyed golf and traveling to tournaments and casinos across the United States.
He will be remembered and missed by his wife, Teresa L Cernobyl, stepchildren, Michelle Rinnier (Tom), Stephanie Cartwright and Harold Ray Cartwright Jr., grandchildren, Alexa Beam-Rinnier and Luis and Elliana Camacho, his best friend Jason Brock along with 3 sisters and a brother.
There will only be a private graveside service with immediate family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Blount and Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories.
