Larry M. Willis was born in 1938 and lived and worked on the family farm in Mayo, Florida. He was ordained to the gospel ministry in 1957 at the age of 19 and married the love of his life, Betty and their journey together continued for over 63 years. He attended North Florida Junior College, Stetson University, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and New Orleans Theological Seminary where he received his Doctorate of Ministry degree. He was pastor of churches in both Indiana and Florida. Due to physical limitations, he made a career change and became a Florida Licensed General Contractor. His desire was always to show the love of Jesus Christ to everyone he met.
He is survived by his loving wife Betty, daughter and son-in-law Suzette and Nick Pullaro, son and son-in-law Marc Willis and Tony Bonjorno, a sister, Betty Strickland, 4 grandchildren Nicole, Justin, Natalie and Austin and 8 great-grandchildren Luca, Beckham, Jude, Owen, Drew, Nash, Solana and Covey and a host of nieces and nephews.
