Lee Daubar Weiner

Lee was a dedicated, hard working employee at GTE Telecommunications where she had a long career and met most of her best friends while working there. After retiring she became a contractor for GTE traveling to teach new hires.

Lee had a smile and laugh that would light up any room. She loved working in the yard, shopping and especially hosting dinner parties & Sunday dinners for family and friends with her husband, Roland.

Lee is preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Kay Daubar, husband of 31 years, Roland Weiner, parents, Herschel and Fannie Mae Goforth, siblings, Lena Rose Clark, Richard Goforth, James Goforth, Alma Wooden, and Willie Mae Lowry.

She is survived by her son, David Daubar(Christy), stepsons Sam Weiner(Meredith) and Robert Weiner(Tonya), granddaughters Kristin McCollom(Daniel), Melina Daubar, Miranda Daubar, step-grandsons, Ben and Griffin Weiner, great-granddaughter, Ivy Rose McCollom, sister in law, Audrey Goforth and several nieces & nephews that she was very close to.

A private celebration will be planned in early 2025.
