Nina was born in Havana, Cuba on February 5, 1942 to Santiago and Ophelia Espinosa. She is survived by her two children, Rudy, Jr. and Rhonda, her seven grandchildren: Jennifer, Celeste, Jerreca, Crystal, Gabriela, Brenden, and Rudy III, her sister Elena Alfaro, her brother in law Roberta Alfaro and their two children Rebeca and Rene.
She came to Tampa at the age of 14 to start a new life where she met and fell in love with her late husband of 56 years, Rudy Hajaistron, Sr.
Nina was always singing, dancing and always had everyone laughing. She was the life of the party and lit up every room she walked in to. She was a reliable friends and a fierce woman. One could call her a workaholic since she was always volunteering at schools and eventually the beauty salon. She always loved to be out and about enjoying life, visiting with friends and family, and meeting new people.
She will be extremely missed by all those whose lives she’s touched.
