Leslie “Buddy” Henson On November 9, Leslie (Buddy) Henson was freed from his earthly body and reunited with his wife of 56 years, Doris Henson, in Heaven. Although only 7 months had elapsed, the time was an eternity without his other half. Les is survived by his brother Tommy Henson (Helen) and three children- John (Noreen), Chad and Elizabeth. Les leaves behind eight grandchildren who loved him to the moon - Kyle Henson, Sarah Henson, Jacob Henson, Maggie Henson, Christine Vance, Tyler Vance, Ian Henson and Caleb Henson. The man never met a stranger and always heeded the call of any friend in need. Les was a devoted husband, son, father, brother, and friend who loved a good joke almost as much as he loved a good meal. There is no doubt that the reunion in Heaven is an ongoing and raucous affair. A memorial service to celebrate Les reuniting with his beloved Doris will be held Monday, November 23rd, at 3.00 pm at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home, Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W. Bearss Avenue.
