Linda Patricia Griffin

Linda was born on October 24th, 1953, in Tampa, Florida, the daughter of TJ and Anna Vessel. She graduated from Chamberlain High School in 1971.

Linda married Robert Griffin on August 8th, 1975, and they celebrated their 50th anniversary on August 8th, 2025. She was a dedicated and loving mother to her son, Thomas Blake Griffin, and a doting grandmother to James Blake Griffin.

Linda was a driven entrepreneur, owning her own accounting practice for over 20 years. She passionately helped people throughout the Tampa Bay area and beyond with small business consulting, tax preparation, and as a friend and confidant. She used her position to share her faith with any who would listen, and was privileged to help lead some to the Lord.

Remaining to cherish Linda’s memory are her spouse, Robert Blake Griffin; son, Thomas Blake Griffin; daughter-in-law, Valerie Griffin; grandson, James Blake Griffin; and sisters, Deborah Stephens and Barbara Corbett.

The family will receive guests at a Celebration of Life ceremony on Friday, August 22nd at Cypress Point Church, 15820 Morris Bridge Rd. Thonotosassa, FL 33592. The Celebration will be held at 3pm. There will be no interment.
