

Linda was born on January 18, 1938, to George and Dessie Freeman of Fayette, AL. She attended The Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, MS, and The University of Alabama. She enjoyed a successful career in property management and real estate. Her career originated in Huntsville, AL, where she served as president of the North Alabama Apartment Association and on the board of directors. She was the first person to earn the Certified Property Manager (CPM) through the Institute of Real Estate Management. She built Gulf Coast Management and was a successful realtor in St. Petersburg, FL. She was a lifelong member of the Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Georgette Harris Loeffler (David) of Tampa, FL and son, James Dwan Harris of Bedford, TX, grandsons, Will Loeffler (Hannah Hurst) of Hoover, AL, Drew Loeffler of Tampa, FL, Jacob Harris of Bedford, TX, brother, John David Freeman of Northport, AL and many nieces and nephews.
Proceeding her in death are her Parents, George and Dessie White Freeman, and sister, Flora Lee Freeman Cargile (Galen), all of Fayette, AL.
Linda leaves a legacy of resilience, warmth, and unwavering love for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Stroke Association, which supports efforts to combat strokes and aid recovery.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. The family wishes to thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time.
