

Linda was born on April 6, 1946, in Miami, Florida, to James Mall Sharman and Roselyn Forshall. She graduated from Coral Gables High School in 1964 and later attended Florida State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business, majoring in marketing and advertising. She also earned a master’s degree in education from the University of South Florida.
While attending FSU, Linda met Jerry Inman, also a student. They married on June 7, 1969, in Coral Gables, Florida. Quite the entrepreneur she founded and operated a very successful advertising firm for several years before turning to education teaching business applications in middle schools in Hillsborough and Pasco counties until her retirement in 2012. After retiring, Linda generously contributed her time and energy to the Volunteer Program at St. Joseph's Hospital North, working regularly in the Gift Shop.
In addition to Linda's keen eye for women's fashions and a passion for sewing she was also recognized by friends and family as a great cook.
Linda is survived by her husband Jerry; sons Jonathan, Jason and his wife Deanna, Jeffrey and his wife Delia; grandchildren Zachary, Madison, Samantha, Hannah, and Heather Inman; nephews Ronald and Scott Jenkins, James Sharman III, JD Sharman; and niece Roselyn Sharman.
She was preceded in death by her parents James and Roselyn Sharman; brother James Sharman Jr.; and sisters Diane Jenkins and Janet Woodruff.
A celebration of life will be held at 3 pm on June 14, 2025, at the Blount and Curry Funeral Home, 3207 W. Bearss Ave, Tampa, Florida 22618. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Linda's name may be made to the St. Joseph's Hospitals Foundation (https://www.sjhfoundation.org)
