Lorraine A. Sweet, 95 of Tampa, FL. passed away on March 27, 2025. She was born in Brooklyn N.Y. to parents Irving and Anastacia. Lorraine enjoyed being active. You could often catch her enjoying a walk and taking in the sights. She also loved spending time sewing and quilting. One of Larraine’s favorite pastimes was cooking and hosting dinner parties for friends and family, who will miss her greatly.
She is survived by her children, Kevin, Kathleen, and Timothy; grandchildren, Chelsey Ryan and Brendan.
A funeral to honor Lorraine will take place at 11:30am on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Blount and Curry Carrollwood located at 3207 W. Bearss Ave. Tampa, FL. 33618. The family will receive friends one hour prior starting at 10:30am. Following the service there will be a time for reflection at the cemetery at 1pm at Garden of Memories located at 4207 E. Lake Ave in Tampa.
