Lucien “Lucy” Monsees Farina (Rambla), 79, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2023 in Zephyrhills, FL. Lucy was born in Havana, Cuba on December 5, 1943 to Joaquin Rambla and Guillermina Chapman. She moved to the U.S. when she was 17 in search of freedom. Lucy spent the majority of her life as a resident in Long Island, NY and Tampa, FL. She is preceded in death by her first husband Edward Monsees; second husband Manuel Farina; and parents Joaquin and Guillermina Rambla. She is survived by her brother Joaquin “Tony” Rambla; her daughters and their spouses, Michelle and John Fielding, Nicole and Joseph Soares; her sons James Monsees and Gary Monsees; 7 grandchildren.
A private celebration of life is being held by the family at a later date.
