WATTS, Madelyne, passed away after a life-long battle with cystic fibrosis with her loving family at her side on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at the age of 22. Maddy had the heart of a lion and brought light into every life she encountered. The world is a darker place without her presence. But all who have been touched by her story of strength and courage in the face of unimaginable adversity will carry her light in their hearts and continue to pass her strength to others. Cherished daughter of Davis & Melissa Watts, dear sister to Ethan, Alexis, Ralph & Cecil. Adored granddaughter of Bobby & Madeline Meixner and Winona Jenkins. She leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and a wide circle of friends. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the Cystic Fibrosis Clinic at All Children’s Hospital, the Lung Transplant Team at Tampa General Hospital and Life Path Hospice for their caring support. A memorial celebration will be held at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W. Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618 on Saturday, March 21, 2015. Please come as Maddy would remember you. BE YOURSELF! The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. with the service to follow from 6-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, consider donating to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation www.CFF.org.

Dear family of lovely Madelyne
So young, and yet her life has been full of love for her family, friends and Jesus. She flies with Him freely without pain and He holds her tenderly now until you meet again.I will continue to pray for your precious family.

We lost our niece at age 37 after a lifetime of fighting cancer. These children are the world's greatest blessing and reminder that love surpasses all.

Melissa and Davis,

The pain of losing a loved one is only lessoned by their loving legacy. Melissa and Davis you gave Maddy life so she could bless others. The love of God shines in her face! You should be proud to call her your daughter! There are obviously too many relatives to number but we all loved her and also, love and support you in the next phase of your lives. Love, Aunt Beth, Steven Eddy, Clyde and Carah Sanders

Praying for Davis and Maddy's family in this difficult time. May you all be surrounded by the love of friends and family, and held in the arms of the One who loves us more than life itself, Jesus. Davis' faith and trust in the Lord has been a gift to all of us who listen and pray together on Spirit FM. Maddy was blessed by a loving father on this earth, and is now fully alive with her Heavenly Father!

To the Watts family, please know that you are loved and Maddy is loved. It was an honor to listen in on the radio to your very personal stories about Maddy. How close she sits to the throne of God and how powerful her intercessions for you are. The Lord has made her perfect in spirit if not in body. Amen.

Wish I could be there to give all of you big hugs. I remember the little baby who was crying a lot and no one could figure out why Also remember a little girl lying on the couch at Lynne and Bert's house because she did not feel well. She set a good example for all of us. She will be greatly missed.
Love to all,
Aunt Nita
