Halaby, Edna M. (nee Taphorn), passed away on January 17, 2016 at the age of 97 while visiting her son in Tampa, FL. She is survived by her sons, Dennis (Frances) and Kevin of Tampa, FL; grandson, Kent (Christie) Halaby and great-grandchildren, Maria, Cara, Andrew and Joseph Halaby. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Edward K. Halaby; brothers, William (Roslyn) and Robert Taphorn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ignatius Church, North Bend Road, Cincinnati, OH on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 11:30am with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in St. Bernard, Cincinnati, OH.
