Marc Allan Wehling

WEHLING, Marc Allan passed away July 9, 2021 at the age of 56. He is survived by his wife Silvia and daughters, Victoria, Lauren, and Avery; his father, Roger Allan Wehling; Mother-in-Law, Teresa Castro and brother, Gregory Wehling (Christine) along with his loving nieces and nephew- Ava, Liam and Audrey. He was predeceased by his Mother, Selma Villanueva Wehling.

Born in Tampa Florida, Marc was a lifelong Tampa resident; He attended Leto High School and graduated from USF with an Industrial Engineering Degree. He pursued a master’s degree at the University of Florida when his attention was redirected as he began his background screening company, Zaeplex Legal Reports. Zaeplex is one of many accomplishments that he continued to grow into a thriving business to this day.

His passion for life was unmistakable. He was a devoted father and had a front row seat to all of his daughters’ various activities including volleyball and their scholastic endeavors. Marc was a man of faith and had a passion for various sports including Football and Golf. Those who met Marc instantly became a friend. Marc appreciated the power of connections and finding similarities in people regardless of background. He had an open heart and open ears for anything that would come his way. His ability to problem-solve and advise through the toughest of times are qualities that will live on in his family and in everyone that knew him. Marc pushed his family to strive to be better people, students, and daughters so that they would never settle.

When many remember Marc, they remember his passion, the light in his eyes, and his motivational enthusiasm. Marc brought out the best in people and with that many honor his memory and absence.

A memorial service will be held on Friday July 16th at 1pm at Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood located at 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618.
