Margaret "Peggy" J. Rodriguez

Peggy Rodriguez passed away peacefully on May 11, 2026, at the age of 83.

Peggy graduated from Hillsborough High School in 1960 and had a dedicated career with the United States Post Office.

She had a passion for arts and crafts and spent many hours crocheting teddy bears for newborns at her local hospital. She kept a dutiful record of family memories through beautifully crafted photo albums.

Peggy was an active member of Idlewild Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Tampa.

She is survived by her siblings; Ann McWhorter, Patty LaBarbera, Nancy Ayo and numerous nieces and nephews; her children and their spouses, Kelly and Colby Fisher and David and Hayley Norman, and her grandchildren, Davin, Kimilee, and Hannah; and her special love, Rich Baccheschi, who brought her great happiness in the later years of her life. She is preceded in death by her brother, Nathaniel Barber and sister, Kathleen Scaglione.

Visitation will be held at Landmark Baptist Ministries, 6021 Williams Rd, Seffner, FL 33584, US, on May 15, 2026, at 10:00 am followed by the Funeral Service at the same location from 11:00 am.

A Graveside Service will take place at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, 4202 E Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610, US, on May 15, 2026, following the funeral service
