Margaret was born May 12, 1960 to Mieczyslaw and Zofia Sulek in Bochnia, Poland. In 1980 she left her native Poland, with a group of others to seek asylum in Austria as Poland was still under communist control at that time. In 1981 her group was offered relocation to Southern California. There she learned English, began working, and eventually obtained her US citizenship in 1991.
In 1993, she met Len while both were working at Baxter Healthcare in Irvine CA. They were married on April 7th, 1995, while living in Trabuco Canyon California. In 1996 she started her family with the birth of her daughter Monique. In 1997 she moved to Grayslake, IL, and the family expanded again with the birth of her son Alec. The family moved again in 2004 to Powell Ohio as Len's career had grown with Mettler-Toledo. As her children grew up and went off to university, she and Len had the opportunity to relocate again to Wesley Chapel, Florida.
Margaret was a loving and caring mother to her children, Monique and Alec as well as a devoted and supportive wife to her husband Len. She was a dear friend to many and those that really got to know her loved her for who she was, a fun-loving, deeply caring, and sensitive, but unapologetic as to who she was. She is gone from us far too soon and she will be greatly and painfully missed by us all.
Margaret was predeceased by her father Mieczyslaw and mother Zofia; father-in-law Adrian and mother-in-law Mary. She is survived by her husband Len and children Monique and Alec. Brother Zenon ( Malgorzata), brother Maciej (Lucyna). Sister-in-law Mary-Ann (Keith) and sister-in-law Sandy, and 8 nieces and nephews.
