Dear Amanda and the entire Cook family,
We were saddened to hear the unexpected news about Maria. Although we never met her, or knew her, reading through some of the lovely memories that people have shared, speaks volumes to the person she was. We're so sorry for your loss, and want you to know that you are in our thoughts during this very difficult time.

With much love,
Uncle Doug and Aunt Barbara

How do you put into words how amazing she was!! Growing up she was a 2nd mom to me. Whether it was going on family trips, church or even chores I was always included. The Cook family took me in and made me one of their own. Marian, Amanda, J.r, I'm so sorry for your loss. Now she's with dad and Marky keeping you all safe. God bless you all!

Maria, was a kind giving women. She showed love and respect to my daughter like she was her own. And loved and cared for our shared grandchildren. I will not forget Maria coming to my home and cooking a meal to share with both our families at one of the grandkids birthdays. Maria you will be greatly missed. May the Lord bless you and keep you, May the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and give you peace.
