She was preceded in death by her parents, Andre and Catalina Crespo pf Ybor City; her husband, Kenneth C. Faircloth; her beloved sons, Carlos M. Escrilano and Anthony “Tony” R. Faircloth; and her brother, Andrew Crespo.
She was a lifelong native of Tampa, Fl., where she was born. She is survived by her loving children, Jose M. Escrilano, Jr., daughter, Edith M. Salter, wife of Michael Salter.
She was a social worker’s aide for the city of Tampa in the 60’s Model Cities Program. In 1973, she went to work for Hillsborough County, for the Adult Daycare Program for 10 years. She went on to become the Center Coordinator for the Senior Nutrition Program.
Later, she spent 24 years at King’s Manor where she retired after 34 years of service for Hillsborough County.
She was the neighborhood watch. She loved animals, and people, and trying to help them.
Her greatest accomplishment was her children, whom she loved very much. She always said, “I have no regrets, I have lived a full life and never a boring one.”
