Marian Padgett

Mrs. Marian Elizabeth Padgett, age 91 and a resident of Mayfield, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025, at her son's home in Mayfield. She was born on June 9, 1933 in Tampa, FL to the late Richard and Rosalie Hohne. She worked for General Telephone Electric and later worked as security detail at Busch Gardens in Tampa. Mrs. Padgett was dedicated to her family and found the beaches of Florida to be her happy place. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mayfield, Kentucky.

Mrs. Padgett was affectionally known as "Memaw" by all that knew and loved her. Those left to cherish her memory are her four children, Janet Pettis (Jimmy), James D'Avignon (Stephanie), Richard E. D'Avignon (Tawana), and Alan C. D'Avignon; special cousin, Betty Joyce; thirteen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; and sixteen great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Mrs. Marian Padgett will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the Myrtle Hill Memorial Park in Tampa, Florida.
