

Marwan lived a life defined by integrity, curiosity, and devotion to those he loved. As a civil engineer, he took great pride in building structures that served communities and stood as lasting reminders of his dedication, skill, and work ethic. His career reflected not only his technical expertise but also his commitment to improving the world around him.
Beyond his profession, Marwan had an adventurous spirit and a passion for travel. Whether exploring new cities, discovering scenic landscapes, or experiencing different cultures, he found joy in every journey. His travels enriched his life and created countless stories and memories that he loved to share with family and friends.
Above all else, Marwan was a devoted family man. He treasured time spent with his loved ones and was a constant source of strength, wisdom, and encouragement. His kindness, steady presence, and generous heart left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife Charlotte Hatoum, sons: Jad Hatoum, Keyyan Hatoum, daughter Mia Hatoum, his brother Walid Hatoum, his sister Betina Halaby and mother Najwa Naim, who will forever cherish his love, guidance, and unwavering support. He was preceded in death by his father Maziad Hatoum.
A memorial for Marwan will be held at Blount & Curry Funeral Home-Carrollwood, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618 on Sunday July 12 from 1pm to 5pm, includes a service from 2pm to 3pm and a reception until 5pm.
Though he will be deeply missed, Marwan's legacy lives on through the lives he touched, the family he loved so dearly, and the enduring examples of compassion, perseverance, and adventure that he leaves behind. May his memory bring comfort and inspiration to all who knew him.
