Mary Ann Cardinale

Mary Ann Cardinale, 91, of Frederick, MD and formerly of Tampa, FL passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at home with family by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, John and sister-in-law Marjorie Mirabole. Born in Tampa on June 23, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Lillie Cagnina Mirabole.

Survivors include her children, Milo A. Cardinale, of Sebring, FL and Cara C. Simmonds and her husband, Cary, of Queenstown, MD; five grandchildren, Quinn, Mary, Sara, Andrew, and Ryan; one brother, Andrew Mirabole, of Baltimore.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Frederick Hospice for their compassionate care during Mary’s final days.

The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 18 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home 4207 E Lake Ave, Tampa, Florida 33610. Internment will follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. A luncheon will be served at Blount & Curry Funeral Home following internment.
