Walsh, Frances, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021. She was born on October 1, 1933, in Ponce de Leon, Fla., to Coot and Sarah Byrd Linton. Frances was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George P. Walsh; her son, Jerry Walsh; her grandson, Jeremy Clement; brothers, Lewis L. Linton and Bobby "Bud" Linton; and three sisters, Odell Wilson, Alice Green and Mary Houston. She is survived by her sisters, Lou Abshier and Faye Driggers; four children; Donna Clement, Janet Walsh, Donald Walsh and Lynn Walsh; granddaughter, Melody Walsh, whom she raised as her daughter and 7 grandchildren.
Frances was a Baptist by faith and read her bible daily. She loved to read and work her puzzles and was a wonderful cook. She enjoyed quality time spent with loved ones and was dedicated to her family.
To honor Frances' wishes, there will not be a public service. The family will gather privately as she is laid to rest next to her husband.
Frances is in the care of Blount & Curry Funeral Home- Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W. Bearss Avenue, Tampa.
