Johnson, Mary P., 58, of Wesley Chapel passed away on January 5th, 2026 in Wesley Chapel. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Robert H. John-son, daughter Patricia J. Johnson and stepdaughter Samantha L. Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents G. William and Patricia M. Jude, and her sister, Kathleen A. Meyer. Mary was born in Worthington, Minnesota but grew up in the Wayzata/Long Lake area. She moved to Florida when she was 18 to study at St. Leo University and spent most of her life in the Tampa Bay Area. Mary was a devout Catholic and strongly believed in healing the wounded and the sick. She was a social worker for nearly 30 years and was the director of social services at a nursing home in Tampa. Her love for films, nature, and her family knew no bounds.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society in her memory would be greatly appreciated.
