Mary Alice Ross

Mary Alice Mahoney Ross, 82, of Tampa, Florida, passed away on June 8, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born July 17, 1943, in Chicago to Jack and Ellen Mahoney, she moved to West Palm Beach in 1951. She graduated from Palm Beach High School in 1961, then earned a master’s and PhD in psychology from Florida Atlantic University.

She was married to Jensen Francis Ross and was preceded in death by her son Sean Ross and her sister Jackie Mahoney. She is survived by her husband, her son Christopher Ross and his wife Marcy, her siblings Maureen Pyles, Faith Croshaw, Kevin, John, and Brian Mahoney, and her grandchildren Amy, Keith, Cooper, and Morgan Ross.
