Matthias Dwyer ("Thias"), age 39, died on October 26, 2016 in Miami, Florida. Matthias was the devoted son of Robert and Patricia Dwyer of Lutz, brother to Chris (Patty Carey) of Chesapeake Beach, MD., Liz Diecidue (Tom) of Lutz, and Brendan (Margaret) of Tampa; and a loving uncle to his six nieces and nephews. Matthias was born on August 25, 1977 in Tampa, Florida. He graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology in 2006 and was currently pursuing graduate studies in archeology. While in Miami, he worked for the the Archeological and Historical Conservancy, Inc., conducting field research. A viewing will take place at Blount & Curry located at 3207 W. Bearss Avenue in Tampa on Sunday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. A Catholic funeral mass will take place on Monday, October 31st, at 9 a.m. at St. Timothy's Catholic Church located at 17512 Lakeshore Road in Lutz, Florida.
