Michael Scott Conner

Michael Scott Conner, 47, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017. Born February 20, 1970, he was the son of William C. Conner, Sr. and Mary A. Conner. Scott graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a BS in Business Administration. He was a Certified Public Accountant and worked for the Walter P. Moore Engineering Firm in Tampa Florida. He was a former leader of the Boy Scout Troop 188 and served as treasurer. He had a passion for cars and motor vehicles and had his 1987 Trans Am he wanted to restore later in life. He enjoyed traveling, concerts, riding his motorcycle and was a fan of NASCAR. He is survived by his son, Ryan Conner; fiancé Mary Beth Hager, her sons James and Joseph, parents, William and Mary A. Conner from Disputanta, VA; two brothers, William C. Conner, Jr. and wife Penny from Colonial Heights, VA and Mark Steven Conner of Jacksonville, FL; two nieces, Karrie Conner and Alison Conner; one nephew, Bret Conner; former wife, Dianna Conner from Petal, MS and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. He was a loving son, father, and friend who will be greatly missed by all. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 4-6 p.m.at the Blount & Curry, Terrace Oaks Funeral Home and Crematory, 12690 N 56th St, Temple Terrace, FL 33617. Interment will be private.
