Miguel Gonzalez, 83 years of age passed on May 19th. 2026. He was born in Mayaguez PR and lived in Brooklyn NY worked in Pastrami King for 30 + years, then became resident in Tampa, FL and retired from Tampa General as a General upkeep.

Beloved husband of Catalina Gonzalez. He was blessed with a large and loving family, 2 daughters, 2 Sons, Grandfather and Great Grandfather.

Miguel was a hard-working man. When he retired, he found true peace in the dirt, happiest when his hands were working the soil. He loved to cultivate vegetables and tend to his mango trees, finding deep satisfaction in watching a tiny seed or a fragile sapling turn into a bountiful harvest. For Miguel gardening was not just a hobby; it was a way of connecting with nature.

Visitation will be held at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E LAKE AVE, TAMPA, FL 33610, US, on June 6, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by the Service at the same location from 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm.

A Committal Service will take place at Garden of Memories Cemetery, E Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610, US, on June 6, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm.

Miguel González, de 83 años de edad, falleció el 19 de mayo de 2026. Nació en Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, y vivió en Brooklyn, Nueva York, donde trabajó en Pastrami King durante más de 30 años. Más tarde se estableció en Tampa, Florida, y se jubiló de Tampa General, donde trabajó en mantenimiento general.

Amado esposo de Catalina González. Fue bendecido con una familia grande y amorosa: 2 hijas, 2 hijos, nietos y bisnietos.

Miguel fue un hombre trabajador. Cuando se jubiló, encontró una verdadera paz en la tierra, siendo más feliz cuando sus manos trabajaban el suelo. Le encantaba cultivar vegetales y cuidar sus árboles de mango, encontrando una profunda satisfacción al ver cómo una pequeña semilla o un frágil retoño se convertían en una cosecha abundante. Para Miguel, la jardinería no era solo un pasatiempo; era una forma de conectarse con la naturaleza.

El velorio se llevará a cabo en Blount & Curry Funeral Home en Garden of Memories, 4207 E Lake Ave., Tampa, FL 33610, US, el 6 de junio de 2026, de 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, siguiente el Servicio de las 2:00 pm a 2:45 pm.

El entierro se llevará a cabo en el Cementerio Garden of Memories 4207 E Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610, US, el 6, junio de 2026, de 3:00 pm a 3:30 pm.
