Myrtle was born in the Spring, May of 1934. She loved Spring, especially after living through hard Missouri winters. Spring inspired her great love and appreciation of colorful flowers and a passion to maintain a garden in bloom all year long. It was definitely her HAPPY PLACE.
Myrtle also enjoyed crocheting, needle work, sewing...a Fun Hobby. She made beautiful, unique creations: endless baby blankets, scarfs, hats, doll clothes, Barbie doll dresses, and quilts. She was naturally talented with a brilliant artistic side; A God-Given ability.

Myrtle was a dedicated, committed, passionate educator for 35 years. She taught elementary school grades 3-5. She touched the lives of countless children, some with challenging situations, with lots of empathy, patience, and caring. She encouraged each of her students to reach for the stars.
