

Nancy A. Childers, born on June 14, 1937, in Haverhill, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026, at the age of 89. She spent her final days surrounded by compassionate care at LifePath Hospice in Temple Terrace, Florida.
Nancy was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose greatest joy in life was her family. She cherished every opportunity to spend time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and found immense happiness watching them grow and create families of their own.
A talented professional seamstress by trade, Nancy was known for her creativity, skill, and attention to detail. She later became a successful Realtor and also played an important role in supporting her husband's advertising business. Throughout her life, she was admired for her strong work ethic, generous spirit, and caring heart.
Nancy's Christian faith was the foundation of her life. She loved the Lord deeply and found great comfort and joy in attending church. She also enjoyed dressing up, having her nails done, and taking pride in her appearance—a reflection of her vibrant personality and graceful spirit.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Myers Leslie and Bernice Bourque Leslie beloved husband, Gene Childers, granddaughter Miranda LeTourneau, and is survived by her loving children: Linda Perez and her husband, Mark Perez Sr., Scott LeTourneau and his wife, Paula LeTourneau, Wendy Kirk and her husband, James Kirk, Shannon Perez and her husband, Mario Perez; Kelly Childers and his wife Karen Childres; brothers Ralph Leslie and his wife Kimberly Leslie, Micheal Leslie and his wife Mary Leslie; sister Fern Leslie and her wife Suzanne Sweeny. Nancy also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Sheryl Floyd and her husband, Geoff Floyd, Sharyn Rudinsky and her husband, Chris Rudinsky, Mark Perez Jr. and his wife, Shanice Perez, Brandon Laxton, Amber Messer and her husband, Sean Messer, Adriana Carvajal, Jennifer Perez, Nick Lugo, Mario Perez Jr., and Cameron Childers.
She was also blessed with many great-grandchildren, Audi Perez, Nayeli Perez, Vincenzo Perez, Geoffrey Floyd, Joseph Floyd, Sophia Messer, Annabelle Messer, Cooper Messer, Aliyana Molina, Alaya Molina, Niko Lugo, Taylor, Illeana, Charles; one great-great grandson Adrian ;along with many loving nieces and nephews.
Her kindness, unwavering faith, love of family, and beautiful smile will be remembered by all who knew and loved her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion that will continue through the generations she cherished so deeply.
