Ugh, this day was suppose to be a huge milestone for you, your 30’s. It’s so heartbreaking that you aren’t here to experience or hear to do everything you told me you wanted to go in your 30’s, but you already accomplished a lot. I remember whenever I would you so many life questions such as when do you want to have kids, when do you want to get married, your career goals; and every time you would reply with “when I’m 30….”. When I found that you passed away all I could think was “omg no he have some many plans for when he is 30, he can’t be gone”. It’s so selfish of me wanting you here because I know I would have messaged or called you today to tell you Happy Birthday and I would have replied with “thank you love”, but you are not here, you are in a better place and I have to accept that. 

I hope you are turning up today and staying close to all the hearts that love you, providing comfort! I try not to cry for you today but it’s something that happens uncontrollably. I am so thankful that I got to experience someone with a heart as big as yours. I could type all day because my heart is so heavy and I have so many more things to say but all I really wanted to say is,

To my beloved brother...I know I talk to you every day but no amount words will ever really be enough. You left a huge footprint on this earth and it just doesnt feel right without you. I always have the urge to facetime you or send you funny posts for us to laugh about. I miss new music coming out and us giving our opinions on it. I miss talking trash about work lmao. I know you are always around, even as im typing to you right now. You always have my back and i still feel the love and support so much. I am so glad i told you how much i loved you and how much you inspired me while you could hear it face to face. I will never forget your laugh, your smile, the way your hands look, how you shaked your locs to get them out of your face, how annoyed you got when being rushed lmao and ultimately how much you never took a day off from being a stand up brother and friend to me. Im still so heartbroken that you cant be here while im actually starting to do the stuff ive been wanting to do forever, but i know you are proud. I cant wait until we meet again and dance together again. Everyone didnt get the honor to meet you but everyone will definitely hear about the GOAT! i love you!

Nate, my heart is so heavy knowing that you're no longer physically here. I still can't come to terms with it but throughout the days, I have found peace. Hearing everyone speak so highly and wonderfully of you, knowing you positively impacted so many people. You have brought me peace. I'll forever have you and our memories in my heart. You had this energy that was unmatched and this infectious smile. And oh, how I'll miss that smile. One day, I'll see it again. Until then, I'll keep the memory close. It saddens my heart that I sit here and write this today, your beautiful family all said some beautiful things about you my boy . I don’t have enough words to express my feelings on Nate . For 12 years we remand friends , but deep in our hearts so much more . We would always say one day we would get the chance ; now we’ll never get the chance. I love that you were always my friend first always there to listen and to care. Not many men can remember details of a child that is no relation to you , but the fact that you were always so joyful and loving and caring to me will forever be my memory of you. Always caring for me and loving me from the distance. Fly high my love , one day n heaven it is ! Save a spot for me ❤️

I meet Nate when he was staying in Grand Junction, Colorado. I went to visit my son Dennis who was one of his roommates. He was so nice and sweet, he took me everywhere I wanted to go including up in the mountians hiking several times. I'm offering my deepest condolences to his family and I have you all in my prayers.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Nate and I were close back when we worked at Winn Dixie together. We always had so much together. He always brought life and fun energy wherever he went. He will be missed.
