Nelson J. Mongiovi

Nelson J. Mongiovi, 85, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Nelson’s life was marked by deep dedication to those he loved and an enduring strength of character.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Geraldine Anton Mongiovi; his sons Nelson J. Mongiovi (Josephine), John A. Mongiovi, and Nelson L. Mongiovi; and his cherished grandchildren, Nicholas Mongiovi, Vincent Mongiovi, Joseph A. Mongiovi, and Joseph N. Mongiovi. Nelson’s legacy lives on in their hearts and in the values he instilled through his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering support.

Nelson will be remembered for his quiet strength, warm presence, and the deep love he showed to his family. His memory will be forever cherished by all who knew him.

The funeral service will occur Friday, May 9, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM, 4207 E LAKE AVE, TAMPA, FL 33610. The burial will occur Friday, May 9, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, 4202 E Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610.
