Born and raised in Panama City, Panama, Nelvia built a life centered on faith, family, and compassion. It was there that she met and married the love of her life, Jack Cox, who preceded her in death. Together they created a close-knit family and shared many wonderful years.
Above all, Nelvia's greatest joy was her family. Affectionately known as Mom, Lita, Chichi, and Tía Chichi, she had an extraordinary gift for making everyone around her feel loved and welcomed. Her warm smile, generous heart, and joyful spirit filled every gathering with laughter, creating memories that her family will treasure forever.
Nelvia was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Jack and her loving granddaughter, Christine.
She is survived by her daughter, Pat McCullough(Chuck); her sons, Jack Cox Jr.(Heidi) and Bruce Cox(Deborah Ann); her beloved grandchildren, Elizabeth, Elise, Garrett, Austin, and Madison; and her two cherished great-grandchildren, Ella and Everett.
Nelvia's love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family will remain her lasting legacy. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to Iglesia Bautista de Carrollwood in Nelvia's memory.
