I will never forget the laughter Ony managed to get from us with his jokes. Laughter that made our tummies ache as if we had done 50 pushups. The times that, together with Blanca, Nestor, Vickie and Sandra, he took me, along with my two brothers and their cousin (my mom) to the movies on weekends to see some Barbra Streisand comedy or some Alfred Hitchcock thriller..... nine people in one single car!!! The riots we formed in the car! The time we met at Playa Azul one weekend and some cats ate the chicken that were marinating and waiting to be grilled on a barbecue. The time he took Nestor and me to the Civil Air Patrol and they made us march for what seemed hours (which is why we never went back again!). And the times we met at Aunt Maria's and talked about family. I miss him. Eternal rest grant to him, O Lord; let light perpetual shine upon him, and may everyone in his immediate family continue to be surrounded by much love.
