

Nicholas "Nick" Date Fabic passed away on February 23, 2020 at the tender age of 30. He was born on November 29, 1989, on a Thursday, to Francisco Fabic and Emelda Fabic. His passing was so sudden and unexpected that we are at a loss for words in expressing the deep sorrow and sadness experienced by his family, relatives,and friends. We remember and share many happy memories, who he was and what we will miss so much of him.
Nick was full of life and fun. His passion for sports, cars, music, his family, friends, and his Faith was immeasurable. He was active and participated in a variety of activities from fantasy football, e-games, track and field, bowling and soccer. He competed the obstacle course Savage Races, ran on his skateboard, kayaked and fished in the Florida waters, hiked the mountains of Virginia and Tennessee, and skydived with immense joy. He bought, repaired, and sold cars. His love for music was diverse as he played the piano, guitar, double bass, violin, and taught himself to play the harmonica. He could transpose piano chords into guitar chords.
Nick was also filled with compassion, patience, and kindness. He exercised selflessness and humility towards all those he loved. He took care of everyone's needs before his own. His care and love for his mother was endearing and heart-warming. His brothers and sisters will miss his laughter, wit, and lively spirit. His charisma and humble persona will always be in the hearts of all his friends.
Nick's future travels will be towards the Eternal Light of his Heavenly Father. We are all happy for his future, but we will all miss him.
Nick is survived by his parents, Frankie and Imee, his siblings; Albert, Stephen, Emil, Emmanuel, Grace and Marianne, his brother-in-laws; Ryan and James, his sister-in-law Ann, his niece Elise and nephew Andy, his aunts, uncles and cousins, and his many beloved friends, peers, and co-workers.
A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 5225 N. Himes Ave., Tampa, FL on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E, Lake Ave., Tampa, FL. He will be laid to rest on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, in Tampa.
