Born in Manhattan, New York, on May 31, 1941, Norma moved to Tampa, Florida, as a child and remained a lifelong resident. She was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose strength, independence, and grace touched everyone who knew and loved her.
She shared 50 years of marriage with Andres Esparza Sr. until his passing in 2013. Together, they built a loving family that includes two children, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her stepson and his family, her sister, and five nieces.
Norma, affectionately known as "Big Nana," was a truly wonderful woman who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Graveside burial services will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Blount and Curry.
