RODRIGUEZ, Obdulia “LuLu”, 72, of Tampa, entered into rest July 5, 2015. She was a beautician by trade, but also enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking and being the “handywoman” around the house. Obdulia wore many hates, but her favorite was caring for her family and grandchildren. She was a member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in New Tampa. LuLu was preceded in death by her mother, Tomasa Marti and daughter, Hilda Rodriguez. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Reinaldo Rodriguez; son, Gustavo Rodriguez (Lisa Pardo); daughter, Helen Rodriguez-Maust; sister, Hortensia Herrera; grandchildren, Mitchell, Heather, Jacob, Sydney, Nico, Dylan, Joey and Michael; and great grandchildren, Ilena, Jocelyn, Landon, Iziah, Kingstin, Ayvah and Lincoln; as well as a loving extended family and circle of friends. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Wednesday, July 8 and funeral service will follow on Thursday, July 9 at 10 am. All services will be held at Garden of Memories Funeral Home. Obdulia will be greatly missed by her family and friends, but will live on in their hearts and memories.
