Olivia Williams, 22, of Wesley Chapel, Florida, was found deceased on December 30, 2025. Olivia was born in Belleville, Illinois, and later moved to Florida, where she graduated from Wesley Chapel High School and earned multiple scholarships. She went on to attend the University of South Florida.
Olivia had the biggest personality in a tiny package, bringing instant joy and endless laughter to every room she entered. She had a big heart, and when she loved, she loved big.
From a very young age, Olivia loved animals. As a teenager and young adult, she frequently volunteered at animal shelters, often sending photos and asking if she could bring home another dog she had fallen in love with. Her favorite job was working at a doggie daycare and pet resort, where she was surrounded by animals. Olivia was also a devoted cat mom to her fur baby, Thobi; she loved him dearly.
Olivia loved hockey, especially the St. Louis Blues. She never missed an opportunity to attend a game and would relentlessly heckle family members for wearing a Tampa Bay Lightning jersey.
Olivia had strong convictions when it came to standing up for people and what she believed to be right and fair. Even as a child, she wrote letters to the President and members of Congress, believing her voice mattered. As an adult, she often invited others to join her at protests, and if no one was available to go with her, Olivia would go alone, undeterred in her convictions.
Music was another great joy in Olivia’s life. She played the piano from an early age and enjoyed listening to music with her stepdad. She especially loved Elton John, Queen and the Beatles.
Olivia was so strong, but she never fully realized it. She was beautiful inside and out, in every sense of the word. She was, to many of the people in her life, their whole world, and without her the world will be a far less joyful place. But heaven just became a lot brighter, and in some corner of heaven right now, she is probably reunited with her fur babies that left before her, as I’m sure that’s the first thing she would have done.
Olivia is profoundly missed by her mother and stepfather, Melissa and Robb Franklin; her father, Brady Williams; her brother, Gabriel Franklin; her sister-in-law, Luce Franklin; her grandparents, Steve and Cindy Phelps; grandmother, Edith Williams; great grandparents, Conrad and Sharon Arnold; and her beloved fur babies, Thobi and Presley. She is also deeply missed by aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Brady Williams, and her great-great-grandmother, Lela Hollowell.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Olivia’s memory to the Pasco County Animal Shelter, where Olivia volunteered and devoted her time to helping animals in need.
