

Alfonso, Oneida Noriega, 93 of Tampa passed away on April 19 , 2016. A native of Tampa, she began working at the age of 17 as a cigar roller for Corral Wodiska. She later left the factory to become a homemaker and beautician. Oneida owned and operated a beauty shop in her home for 45 years. She was a devoted wife, mother and “Lela,” and was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Ralph. She is survived by her daughters, Dolly (John) Macaluso and Darcy House; grandchildren, Nick (Laura) Macaluso, Megan Macaluso, Tyler House and Trever House; great-grandchildren, Maddie and Jack Macaluso; sister, Hope (Sam) Cardinale; nieces and nephews, Sheryl (Rudy) Mayoz, Sammy (Anett) Cardinale, Billy (Cathy) Eichmann, Bobby (JoAnn) Eichmann, Dr. Dennis Alfonso, Royce Miller and Gable Noriega. We would like to thank the staff at Carrollwood Care for the excellent care, patience and love you gave our mother at all times. God Bless all of you! Funeral services will be held on April 21, 2016 at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home, Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W. Bearss Ave. Tampa, FL 33618. Visitation is from 11:00am to 12:pm. Interment will follow at Centro Español Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, we request that donations be sent to Carrollwood Care Center, 15002 N.
