Patricia Ann Curci died peacefully in her home in Tampa, Florida on November 7, 2023. Pat was born on October 4, 1939, in Louisville Kentucky and graduated as an honor student at Ursuline Catholic School.
In her adventurous spirit, having never been out of Kentucky or driven a car, she went on to be an Eastern Airline flight attendant. This took her to Miami, Florida where she met the love of her life, Francis “Fran” Curci.
They were married on November 16, 1960, and she became the devoted football coach’s wife and a loving nurturing mother to 4 children who she adored. She relished raising her children, entertaining friends and family and supporting Fran as he took his coaching career to many cities.
Pat loved music, dancing, playing games, and using her extensive knowledge for her nightly Jeopardy challenges with Fran. She was a vast book reader most of her life with her favorite books on Biographies and History. She was an accomplished and creative cook who inspired many.
We will remember and miss her honesty, fun demeanor, quick witted great sense of humor and hundreds of funny one line “zingers” .
Pat and Fran enjoyed 63 years of marriage with 4 children Angela Strouse (Jeff), Frank Curci (Whitney), Mary Theresa Curci, Tim Curci (Jen)
9 Grandchildren, Sarah Sperry (Parker) Allison Miller (Brock) Kate Curci, Josie Rothschild (Craig) Lily Curci, Frankie Curci, Michael Curci, Adam Curci (Monica) Samantha Curci and 8 great grandchildren.
Pat was a lifelong practicing Catholic and a member of St Lawrence Catholic Church. The family has requested any recognition of Pat be done so with a donation in her name to LifePath Hospice of Tampa.
