Wilson, Patricia Bianco “Pat” passed away on November 6th 2021 at home in Temple Terrace, Florida at the age of 75. Pat was born in Nyack, N.Y. on October 23, 1946. She moved to Tampa with her parents Richard and Frances Bianco, who predeceased her. Pat graduated from Plant High School then attended the University of Florida through her junior year before graduating from the University of South Florida where she earned a degree in elementary education.
Pat was a teacher for a few years before starting a career with the state of Florida in the Health and Human Services Department. Working in economic services, she rose to Operations Manager where at different times she was responsible for the Downtown, North Tampa, Brandon and Ruskin service centers. She was known for hard work and fairness, and retired after 30 years of service with many friends and the respect of her colleagues.
Pat was caring and always put others first whether it be her friends, raising her family, or caring for her parents. If times were down she was always there to comfort with a joke or hug or a good meal. Pat loved keeping a beautiful home and yard where everything was kept just so. She loved her pets, which she saw as part of the family, Nipsy, Waldo, Cleo and Rebecca to name only a few.
She is survived by her son, Travis Wilson; daughter, Stephane Wilson; daughter-in-law, Amanda Wilson; three grandchildren, Bianca Setree, Gus and Sloane Wilson.
There will be an informal Celebration of her life at Riverhills Park in Temple Terrace on Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 12p.m.-5p.m.
