Born on September 11, 1987, in Annapolis, Maryland, Paul spent his childhood and younger years growing up in Germany, Florida, and Texas. His life took him to many places, but it was the home and life he built with his high school sweetheart and beloved wife of 19½ years, Rebecca, that became his greatest source of happiness.
Paul was a man of many interests and passions. He loved reading, video games, movies, music, records, cooking, and even sleeping, but nothing compared to the love he had for his wife and family. He was funny, sarcastic, intelligent, and deeply compassionate. A connoisseur of dad jokes, his lighthearted humor put others at ease, broke tension in a room, and made strangers smile. He had a way of making those closest to him feel loved, protected, and cared for, often putting their happiness and well-being ahead of his own.
Above all, Paul was a devoted husband. His love for Rebecca was selfless and unwavering. They created more than just a home; they built a safe haven, a place of comfort, peace, and security where they could simply be themselves. Together with his treasured wife, Paul created a home filled with love. He cherished every moment of life shared with her and with their friends. Though Paul and Rebecca had no children, he loved his nieces and nephews as if they were his own. His love for them was genuine and unconditional, and they held a special place in his heart. He also adored his beloved pets, Luna and Loki, who he doted on and were very much a part of his family.
Professionally, Paul worked as a Mobile Expert in the wireless industry for over 18 years, specializing in cell phone sales. His intelligence, kindness, and sense of humor were qualities that helped define who he was, both personally and professionally.Paul found joy in spending time in the comfort of his home with those he loved most. Whether sharing a laugh, offering a sarcastic remark, or simply enjoying a quiet moment reading, Paul had a personality that left a lasting impression on the people around him.
Paul was preceded in death by his loving mother, Carol; grandmothers Belva and Joyce; grandfather Robert; cousin Ryan; and sister-in-law Jessi. He is survived by his beloved wife, Rebecca; his father, Bill; his brother, Josh; his cherished nieces and nephews; and an abundance of extended family and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Though Paul's time here was far too short, the measure of his life will never be found in the number of years he lived, but in the depth of the love he gave. He leaves behind a legacy of devotion, compassion, and laughter. However, Paul's greatest legacy is the love he gave so freely, the home he helped create, and the peace of mind he brought to those who knew their loved ones were safe in his care.
He will be remembered for his love that made others feel safe simply by being near him.
