

Paula was born in Havana, Cuba, on February 20, 1931. In 1968, she made Tampa, Florida, her home, where she built a life filled with family, hard work, and cherished memories. Paula dedicated her career to working as a professional seamstress, a craft that reflected her patience, talent, and dedication.
Above all, Paula treasured her family. She will be lovingly remembered for the life she shared with those closest to her and for the memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
Paula was preceded in death by her beloved son, Roberto Diaz.
She is survived by her son, Rolando Diaz Jr., and his wife, Zoraima. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Maggie Diaz Ramirez, Rolando L. Diaz, Melanie Diaz, Daniel R. Diaz, and Javier A. Diaz; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Paula’s 95 years of life touched generations of her family. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will continue through the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who carry her love and legacy forward.
May Paula rest peacefully, surrounded by the love she gave so freely throughout her life. May her family find comfort in the many years of memories they shared with her and in knowing that her love will remain a part of them forever.
Rest in peace, Paula. You will be deeply loved, remembered, and missed.
A graveside service will be held at Garden of Memories Cemetery, E Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610, US, on August 25, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
