Pauline "Paula" Frances Cohalla

Pauline “Paula” Frances Cohalla, 85, Tampa, Florida passed away peacefully, Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at her home in Tampa, Florida. Paula was born on February 15, 1937 in the town of Kanawha Head, West Virginia to Perry F. Pritt and Lena E. Pritt. She was one of thirteen siblings. She lived in Maryland for a short time then moved to Tampa, Florida where she married her husband, Justo on August 18, 1970. Paula retired after thirty plus years on staff at Villa Madonna School. Paula is survived by her five daughters, Rachael Dragneff (John), Caren Cohalla-Marrero (Rick), Valerie Cohalla (Carlo), Carrene Cohalla, Justina Cohalla-Neatherly (Christopher); nine grandchildren, Nichole, John Jr., Chelsea, Caitlynd, Geovanni, Hector, Courtney, Alexis, Joshua; nineteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Justo “John” Cohalla (retired Tampa Police Sgt.); parents; and several siblings. A funeral service for Paula will be held 12 p.m. Sunday, August 7, 2022 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, Tampa, Florida. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
