Ralph Roland Drake Jr.

Ralph Drake, 74, passed away on Saturday August 22nd, 2015. He was preceded in death by his lovely wife Kathryn (Katie) Drake. He is survived by his brother Allen Drake (Amy); and nine children- sons David (Kathy); Kevin (Mary); Raymond; John (Lisa); Timothy (Claudia); Michael (Kelli); Jeffrey (Julie); and daughters Kathryn and Kara. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and numerous other family members and friends. Ralph was born to Ralph Sr. and Martha in Elizabeth NJ on July 7, 1941. Ralph and his family moved to Tampa, Florida in 1985. Ralph attended services at both Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church and Forrest Hills United Methodist Church, where he spent many years dedicated to helping people through their Food Pantries. Ralph portrayed himself as a “Grumpy” old man but was really a very kind hearted person, who would do anything he could to help a person in need. Services will be held at Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church on Saturday August 29th, 2015 at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to either Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church or Forest Hills United Methodist Church’s Food Pantries.
