Randolph Terrell York Jr.

He was born in Tampa, Florida on December 15, 1948. When he was a young man, he enjoyed driving around with friends in his 1963 1/2 Ford Galaxy. It was royal blue with a white top and had vinyl bucket seats (and yes he lit up the tires!). He met his future wife, Donna, on a blind date and seven months later, they were married. Together, during their 54 years of marriage, they raised four children, and were blessed with four grandchildren. He was a hard worker and worked as a painter for almost all of his adult life. He mostly worked in hospitals, doing the most detailed paint job of anyone in his profession. He loved to fish, when he had the time, but his favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren. Terrell is survived by wife Donna; daughters, April, Anitra & Elizabeth; son, Randy; sons-in-law, Michael & Andrew; and grandchildren, Stevie, Talaina, Emilia and Gabriel. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday July 30, 2025 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories. The family will have a visitation with a light lunch at 2:00pm, and his Service at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Moffitt Cancer Center OR an animal shelter of your choosing would be greatly appreciated.
