Regina Marsh

Regina was born in Neschwitz, Germany to Karel Jost and Elizabeth Jost on December 24, 1943. She was an only child and moved to Rosenheim, Germany, just outside of Munich, with her mother, where she lived and went to school until moving to the United States in her early twenties. She was married in 1966 and had two children, Kristina Lynn Marsh in 1973, and, Steven Antony Marsh, in 1974. Regina took time away from her college studies to focus on raising her two children while also working part-time. Later, after her children were grown, she returned to college to complete her studies and graduated from the University of South Florida in 2001 with her Bachelors of Arts degree. She worked as a Legal Assistant and an Executive Assistant for over thirty years and retired from United Technologies Automotive approximately twenty years ago.

Regina was a compassionate, kind soul who spent her entire life helping and caring for others. Regina loved her family and friends deeply and showed her love through countless acts of service and kindness. She was always the first to help family, friends, and neighbors anytime they needed it. She regularly cooked and brought meals to family members, friends, and neighbors, took friends and family members to appointments, took her grandchildren to school and after school activities, ran errands for everyone, and lovingly cared for all three of her grandchildren and family dogs, without hesitation. She was happiest making sure everyone around her was healthy and content. In addition to devoting her time to helping others, Regina loved spending time with her family and friends, reading, gardening, knitting, and loved classical music.

She lived simply, and asked for so little, but gave so very much. Even though she is no longer with us, she will remain in our hearts forever.

Regina is survived by her daughter, Kristina and her son-in-law, Adam, her son, Steven, and his other half, Kathy, and Regina’s three grandchildren, Bryce, Ryleigh, and Aiden.

A Celebration of Life/Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 10:00 at Blount & Curry, Carrollwood, Tampa, Florida. All arrangements are by Blount & Curry, Carrollwood.
