Richard Grable

Richard J. Grable, 83, of Tampa, FL, passed away on 01/15/2023 in Tampa, FL. Richard was born in Erie, Pennsylvania to Cedric and Eva Grable on December 11, 1939. He went to school at Strong Vincent High School in Erie, Pennsylvania. He married Erika Grable on January 8, 1965 in Bremerhaven, Germany. He graduated from Gannon University, and then got his Master’s Degree at Central Michigan University. He worked as a hospital administrator for several hospitals. He was a veteran and served in the United States Army and achieved the rank of Major. He was involved in the Florida Guardian Ad Litem program, the Kids and Kubs Softball league, and the APA (American Poolplayers Association). Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Cedric and Eva Grable. Richard is survived by his spouse, Erika Grable, son Brian Grable, daughter-in-law Tanya Grable, and grandkids Davin Grable and Jaina Grable. A Celebration of Life will be held between 1pm and 5pm on February 5, 2023 at 17557 Queensland Street, Land O Lakes, FL 34638. In lieu of flowers, please make a small donation in Richard’s name to Hospice of Tampa.
