Reverend Richard Allen Williams, ThD went home to be with the Lord on Sept. 10, 2018. Born March 16, 1930, in Nashville, TN, Early in life Dick recognized he didn’t measure up to Gods righteous standard and trusted Jesus for the forgiveness of his sins. Predeceased by his parents Elizabeth Allen and Richard D. Williams, and his son Sidney Allen, Dick is survived by his wife Lillian Lamb Williams, son Richard Kirkland Williams his wife Kathy and step-grandchild Ruthie. Educated at Vanderbilt University, Bob Jones University BA, and Dallas Theological Seminary ThM, ThD, Dick spent his life serving the Jesus he loved. Dick pastored in Houston and Tampa and was President of Trinity College. At the time of his death he was Pastor Emeritus of Christ Community Church and Chancellor of Trinity College. There will be a memorial service at Christ Central Presbyterian Church, 6202 N. Himes, Tampa, on Sat. Sept. 15 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Dallas Theological Seminary or Trinity College.
