My family are gutted to have learned of Rick's death. Rick, as his dad before him and the entire Olin Mott family, always treated the Jordans as part of their family. My dad, Baker, has been a loyal customer since Rick was a young man in his 20s. Now that Dad isn't driving anymore, and Mom and I take the family cars in for service, Rick still always came out to say hello and have a chat. He has consistently been so good and kind to each of us, and he'll be remembered very fondly. His smile and huge personality will be missed terribly.

We send our loving condolences to his friends and family, particularly to Jennifer and to Cody.

My precious family, we are so very blessed to have shared our lives with Rick.  His contagious smile and genuine  laugh will resonate with us forever.

We had so much fun during our annual beach stays at the Florentine in Indian Shores playing shuffleboard and enjoying our traditional Luau night. Rick loved the competition and was usually a team captain during shuffleboard contests. The fun and laughs were enjoyed at all the Mott family reunions in Cordele, GA and for local family members at Aunt Doris and Uncle Olin's home every Christmas Day for many years.

Rick was usually the first person who greeted you when you walked into the Olin Mott store on Hillsborough Ave. That big smile and friendly greeting was always on display to brighten everyone's day.

His spirit will live on through his loving wife, Judy, his beautiful daughters Jennifer and Lisa, and his beloved grandson Cody.

His memory will make us smile and be happy,  just like he would want us to be. Let us share our smiles with others in honor of Ruck.

Love you, my darling cousin Rick. Keep spreading your sparkle!

My dear first cousin, I always looked forward to your summer visits with Linda and Aunt Doris. Occasionally Uncle Olin would come and it was so much fun. Always love you and your beautiful family. RIP Rick. 💔

I had the extreme pleasure of knowing Rick for the past 34 years. I can tell you Time does not stand still and let us just pass through. And Rick took full advantage of his opportunity by touching many folks lives in the Bay Area. He always greeted folks with that smile and firm handshake. He was a wonderful husband and father. RIP my friend and until we meet again at Gods speed.
