Robert was born in Kenosha, WI to Helmuth and Ruth Sturm on July 10th, 1941. He married Mary Ellen Doherty on August 27th, 1966 in Kenosha, WI. He served in the U.S. Airforce and attended the Milwaukee School of engineering. Robert worked as an engineer at I.B.M. for 30 years. Robert was involved in American Legion.
Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen Sturm.
He is survived by his sons, Karl and his wife Jeanmarie, and Brian; grandsons, Tyler and Alex; and sisters, Jackie, Patricia and Cindy.
